So, what other wonders the spring summer collections that showed at Fashion Week Central Europe have to offer? Let’s have a peek at Konsanszky, Nanushka, Je Suis Belle, Kata Szegedi, and the Nini Molnar accessories presentation. To recap, check out the first batch of the ss18 Budapest shows and here’s the second part.
KONSANSZKY RUNWAY SHOW
As usual, I found myself crushing on the endless variations of all the black and white gothic looks. For me, these are just the perfect party outfits. I especially loved the shoes – such a cool collection of comfy and tough things! Yes, you’re guessing right, I’m a Docs and smart flats kind of girl these days. Current fashion choices and designer collections that build on those shoes are more than welcome chez moi. The one highlight, interestingly, among all the wearable black and white stuff is a coloured PJ look – love it!
While the ss18 collection is not yet available, you can start building these outfits based on these fave pieces. They are all on sale too 🙂 Flaster leather leggings, Manu silk trousers, Cassia dress, and the Saffron leather jumpsuit. Check out all the cool washable leather pieces here.
NANUSHKA RUNWAY SHOW
The new season kicks off with the resort 2018 collection Nuria, which aims to strike a balance between clean, minimal oriental and Wild Western Americana. As seen on the catwalk, besides the more obvious coloured pieces, it was black squad vs. pink squad. All beautiful, refined but relaxed at the same time, which is what I loved most about the show. My clear higlights are the scarf playsuit, the grey maxi dress and the black minimal pieces. Need I say I love the shoes too? 🙂
Discover the collection here – most of it is already available.
JE SUIS BELLE RUNWAY SHOW
Visual arts, folk arts and showcasing the unique style of the wearer. The original philosophy of Je Suis Belle came across clearer than ever in this collection. I must say the colours and prints are absolutely epic. Even though I don’t work this style any more, I still drool over it. A lot 🙂 My highlights are the sweaters and tops, the fine bride-like logo dress and the vinyl coat. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of things you can buy online but here you go.
KATA SZEGEDI RUNWAY SHOW
Kata’s collections have always been perfectly sleek and cool. And not just for swanning about in a luxe penthouse apartment, but for stomping around with purpose. Plus, I love my timeless stuff but who doesn’t want the coolest nods to trends we love, right? Here we have great flowy and structured pieces, we can shine and sparkle all we want. Even the deconstructed pieces feel impeccable enough to wear anywhere. And of course, don’t forget the eyelets and big sleeves.
Until the spring-summer collection is available, check out the best pieces from this season: the Bale jumpsuit, the Aria biker jacket, the Dana eyelet shirt (my personal fave) and the Chloe silk velvet top.
PRESENTATION: NINI MOLNAR
Cool and chic things galore at the Nini Molnar pop-up store – just the right combination of sophisticated and playful. Check out those signature star, heart and pom-pom details! My personal picks are the black satchel, the embossed star messenger and the star rings.
Fave pieces: star bag in pure black, black star clutch, star ring, ‘pompack’ in black, and the matte black soft sunbag.
